Real Estate Equities
Brand Identity - Brand Systems & Standards - Billboards & Signage - Marketing Materials - Email Campaigns - Digital Advertising - Print Production
Real Estate Equities has been building and managing housing since 1972, from historic lofts in downtown Saint Paul to new affordable communities in Arizona. Every new property has to win over its neighborhood, often before the building is finished.
I have built the identity for six of its properties, each a complete system of logo, color, type, and pattern, and carried each one through everything a community needs to lease up. Billboards, construction banners, signage, email campaigns, digital ads, and print. Alongside the property brands, I took on a range of other marketing and design projects for the company. The goal was for a billboard on the highway and a business card at the leasing desk to feel like the same place.
Corporate Collateral & Lookbook
Editorial Design - Copywriting - Information Design - Custom Design Templates - Internal Documents - Sales Collateral - Print Production
Alongside building new property brands, I worked within REE’s existing corporate brand to create the materials the company runs on: templates the in-house team uses for each property, internal documents, and sales collateral like a pocket presentation folder, flier sleeve, property info sheets, resident qualification sheets and team contact cards. I built each template with clear rules, so staff could update it themselves, and it would still stay on brand.
One of the largest pieces is REE’s lookbook, which tells the company’s 50-year story through its properties. From gathering the information and writing copy to designing the layout. The goal was to let the properties speak for themselves while showing why REE builds the way it does: each property gets its photography and key facts at a glance, and spreads on mission, values, environmental impact and the development process tell the story behind them, with infographics and illustration turning the numbers into something easy to take in.
